ITALIA!!!!

After a long flight thatinvolved me getting stuck in Chicago for 24 hours, I made it to Italia. I'll post some pictures from Chi town later, but I'm going to post a few pics here for you all.

rning for the Chiappones. They loved all the goodies I hauled across the world! :) We then went to apperativo where Brie and Patti met us. Man, have I missed my girls! It has been so nice to chat and laugh and eat (I mean, we are Fords afterall!). The little girls are so much fun--Zia Sara is in heaven! After drinks, we w

ent to dinner where we had fried everything with the best part the pizza with french fries. YUM!

Today, Brie and I went to the mercado and walked around for a bit. My friends Ashley and Jason are on their honeymoon in Europe, so we met up with them this afternoon. We walked around some more, and then met up with Brooke, Roby, and Zurra for gelato. Ash and Jason went to get something from the car and the Chiappones and I went to a little carnival and took Azzurra on a few little rides. Then, we went to the Head for dinner. Again, YUM!

Tomorrow I'm going to meet Ash and Jason in Florence. We're going to see the David, and the city is putting on La Traviata in a piazza tomorrow night. You know how much I love opera, so I can't wait! Friday morning we'll drive up to Venice, where we'll see some of the sites, then Ash and Jason are heading on up to the Alps. I'm going to spend the night in Venice and take the train back on Saturday morning. I'm so brave these days! I'll have to test out my less than conversational Italian, but oh well! Can't learn if you don't try, right?

I seriously may not come home ;) I will, but I am sure tempted!
