Visiting Loriannie in San Diego
For my birthday, I decided to escape the desert. I went home, saw a baseball game with Carlina (the Dodgers vs. the Angels at the Big A), and drove down to beautiful San Diego to visit my little sister and her hubby.Saturday, Loriann and Graham took me shopping (I got some fabulous boots!), and then we girls headed out to the Del Mar Fair. The fair's theme this year is "Race to the Fair" but you would never know it from the TRAFFIC we encountered on the way. It took us about an hour from exiting the freeway to parking the car. Good thing we were in good company!
On Sunday, we went out sailing with some of their friends. I'd never been sailing before, so I wasn't exactly sure what to expect. I now understand why Loriann and Graham go sailing every week. It is SO MUCH fun! I had an absolute blast. Here are some pics from my time in San Diego!

Open up that Golden Gate...
Off to NorCal tomorrow to be a part of Nicole's wedding festivities! Marg is meeting me at the airport. I'm reading a poem called "Allow Me" during the ceremony. So looking forward to lots of fun with the Poly dollies!
